The Oriental Sun is the solo project of K. Helvete (Bestial Hordes, ex-Crown ov Horns, ex-Mantak).
This is a continuation of his work previously in Crown ov Horns,
all of his written and unused materials were picked up from where they were left and composed into this 8 song full-length album.
Those who are familiar with his previous works may find similarities; however,
working solo allows the freedom for him to express and to steer the musical direction differently.
As a result, different elements and influences were introduced into the compositions to create a new monster!

Inspired by the new project's name,
the lyrical concept was developed by K. Helvete's associate Gas to reflect the rise and fall of Eastern civilization.
This album particularly focuses on China and the monumental power of past emperors and rulers,
as well as catastrophic human events in the nation's history. As the album title suggests,
it seems the time is ripe for the phoenix to awaken once more.
